What counts as an issue & how to report safely

An "issue" is anything that interferes with a free and fair vote. You do not need to be certain it is illegal — if something looks wrong, an honest record of what you saw is valuable.
- Voter bribery — money, gifts or favours offered for votes.
- Intimidation or violence — threats, harassment, or force against voters or officials.
- Voters being blocked or turned away without a lawful reason.
- Ballot or equipment tampering — interference with ballots, boxes, or voting kit.
- Results manipulation — altering, mis-recording, or hiding counts and tallies.
Your safety comes first — always
No report is worth your safety. Never confront the people involved. Document only what you can capture from where you already safely are, and move away before anyone notices you recording.
When you document an issue, do it safely:
- Stay calm and act like an ordinary voter — do not announce that you are recording.
- Capture from a safe distance; don't push closer to get a better shot.
- Never film how an individual marks their ballot, and avoid identifying other voters.
- If recording could put you in danger, simply leave — note what you saw and report later from safety.
- Report through LindaKadi anonymously — no account, no name, and your exact location is never published.
